Behind every regenerative farm stands a human with an outstanding story that wants to be told to the world. This is where I stepped in. As one of the storytellers of Top50Farmers, I narrated the individual, truly inspiring journeys of pioneering farmers, capturing the vision, philosophy, and way of working with nature of farmers like Peter Fröhlich based in Switzerland and Luke Hasell from Great Britain.
Having been inspired by Top 50 Farmers in my previous work, I'm deeply grateful to have been part of the team helping to spread these stories to the world.
From Swiss Fields to International Expansion
Peter Fröhlich is rooted in the Swiss countryside, on a generational farm that carries stories weaving back to Roman times. Today, he lives there with his partner, two children and his parents, continuing a family history that has always been closely tied to the land. His father has been farming for 21 years and the last 15 years have been a journey of regeneration.

Located in Somerset’s Chew Valley in the United Kingdom, The Story Farms is a 125-hectare farm operating entirely under regenerative management. Luke Hasell’s dream is to create a regenerative farming foundation that stewards not just a few acres, but millions. The Story Farms is a catalyst for this 1,000 year vision serving as a vibrant sanctuary for inspiration, celebration, and education to inspire a collective awakening around land stewardship.

The 1,000 year future vision stands in contrast to the farm's deeply industrial past, which dates back to the early 1900s. The landscape shifted dramatically when the government purchased Chew Valley land to support the water needs of Bristol and Bath. Following the reservoir's creation, the remaining ground was subjected to decades of intensive, conventional agricultural production.
